Ian has over 20 years successful experience of hands-on management in a broad range of activities and environments where service to the customer is paramount to the success of the organisation.
With a background covering Research & Development, Design, Manufacture, Sales, Marketing, Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management and general staff development and support, Ian has the broad experience and understanding to build effective and sustainable business.
A demonstrably strong track record of finding solutions to a wide variety of both technical and management problems, building strong business streams and developing delivery teams and systems in small privately owned organisations, large multi-national and quasi-governmental organisations.
Ian is well qualified with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics and an MBA gained whilst working full time, which allowed him the opportunity to develop practical applications for the knowledge and approaches that he learnt. In addition he is privileged to have benefited from extensive training in all aspects of business management.
Ian's experience, from developing business opportunities and delivering complex projects, has taught him that to tackle even the toughest challenges take simple, workable steps to head for the ultimate goal.
Ian is a keen rugby fan, being a regular supporter at both Harlequins and England games. He also regularly plays squash and badminton and can often be found rowing along Thames.
